Job Summary: The House Keeper Supervisor will Supervise and maintain the hotel rooms’ cleanliness, comfort and tidy environment for the guests

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Ensure guests are met with a feeling of welcome, comfort, and security,
• Provide the best accommodations rooms for our guests.
• Exceed expectations in all operations from cleanliness to customer service.
• Oversee the cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, stairways, and lounges
• Organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures
• Oversee the distribution of linen, towels and room supplies and replacement of dirty linens with clean items by the team
• Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies, mini bar in line with hotel policy
• Inspect and turn mattresses regularly, check all appliances in rooms to ensure they are working properly
• Monitor guest laundry bags and replace laundry bags and slips
• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
• Respond to guest queries and requests
• Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
• Oversee delivery of requested housekeeping items to guest rooms
• Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
• Follow all company safety and security procedures
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Observe and report damage of hotel property

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The ideal candidate must hold a Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
• At least five years of working knowledge in cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
• Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
• Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
• A mature stable person with settled family will be preferred
• Ability to meet performance standards without supervision
• Good communication skills / ability to listen and ask the right questions to gain clarification
• Integrity and high ethical standards
• Reliability and good time-keeping
• Attention to detail
• Good customer service / focus
• Adaptability, planning and organizing
• Excellent team work spirit
